I watched his amazing speech for the first time last night (i was out of town when it happened but i did read it in full the next day, just hadn’t seen it from his mouth yet) and it was really the first time i saw him as absolutely Presidential. I was watching it and saying, “You know what? This guy is it. I would feel confident having this person as my President.” He’s measured and deliberate with his words and he doesn’t make me feel like he’s bending me over and whispering in my ear that i’m going to enjoy something that i’m really not going to enjoy like all the others do. I actually felt like he meant what he said…novel idea, i know.
And then i see this, and it kinda rattles my confidence in the guy:
I’m a big bowler…i own my own ball and shoes, i’m in a league and i get mad at myself when i don’t break 150 or so. Kelli is on my team and doesn’t take it anywhere close to as seriously as i do, but still manages to bowl between 90-120 almost every time. We know Obama loves basketball and is a relatively athletic person so this blows my mind. I mean, you’d have to seriously try to be that bad at rolling a ball in a straight line, right?
In other news, PETA released news today that they will change their name to Folks Utterly Condemning Killing Others For Food…clever but i’m thinking April 1st might have something to do with this…

So if even Kelli can get 90-120, Obama should be able to do better?
