Taking a Link Dump [Radiohead Drug Bust Theta Chi San Diego State Obama Clinton Recession Cyclone]
In 24 hours on Monday and Tuesday, i spent 4 hours on a plane. I listened to Radiohead the whole way there and back, finished On The Road (review coming soon) and slept for a good part of it. I really enjoyed In Rainbows and i’ve liked Kid A for a long time…In conclusion, i like Radiohead…when i’m on a plane, distracted by a book and sleeping through most of it.

A great take on what the election is and what it isn’t. My favorite part: “I think many people found it interesting the first week or so, but would now happily mash their testicles in a garlic press rather than have this god-awful slog carry on one excruciating day longer.” Couldn’t agree more.

When 3,000 Americans died in a terrorist attack, we started a war that is still going (and has resulted in 100 times the death of the attack). When 1,800 people died in a hurricane, it was a commentary on race relations in this country, an indictment of our federal government and one of the worst tragedies in American history. When 80,000 people die in another country, it barely makes the front page.

Ha - your office anecdotes gave me smiles. Why didn’t they teach us in college that Office Space was REAL?!? No one warned us that goofballs like that truly do exist. Now we’re trapped somewhere between cubicle hell and independence….I’m doing great. Hope you are, too.

Can you elaborate on your take on the “passing a law to enforce a law” comment. I personally think that Russell Pierce is the 2nd biggest douche in the state (Second to Arpaio). If you agree and where making a different point, let me know what that is.
